Topping Out Ceremony - or "Richtfest"

On August 18th time had come to reveal the first house after my master's degree to the public. On paper these are two houses. So I'll refer to them as House One and Two.

The carpenters doing their thing consecrating the houses and us watching closely.

While he is talking, why don't we have a look around?

Let's start by paying House Two a visit.

The 360° image below and the photo above display the entrance situation stretching from front to back of the house and from ±0.00 to 5.50 meter.

A glimpse into the future living-dining room and kitchen.

Let's go upstairs.

We skip the attic and go straight to House One.

Two steps forward and you can see right through the living room into the garden.

Now let's have a look at one of the most impressing situations of the houses.

Image standing just behind a huge glas fassade looking back into the living room. Suddenly you can sense and see all three levels linked by a 8.50 meter tall space. You will find the same situation in House Two.

To wrap this post up, let's hop onto the roof and take a look around.

bachelor's and master's degree Summer Term 2017

Once more I had the oppotunity to capture nearly all presentations of this years bachelor and master graduates.
Special thanks to all graduates and professors for tolerating or even encouraging me while taking these photos!

Let's start with the bachelors presentations.

Take a look around.

And some more.

After the first three days of one presentation followed by the next the master students took over and had their run.

Make room for the final round.

For the last two presentations many fellow students showed up to support and learn from the best.

There is just one thing left to do - celebrate!

All graduates of this summer term 2017 are listed in the video below - thank you for letting me share these once in a lifetime moments and all the best for your future! Julian

On my way back home after shooting some portraits, I captured this szene with my 85mm lens. Therefore this collage was taken in the last moments of the blue hour.
